RYLA, 2nd July 2021at DY Patil University Close on the heels of the guest lecture on the previous day, the first day of Rotary year, our Club conducted a RYLA Webinar for the students of D Y Patil University. About 130 students, from courses of Engineering, Hospitality & Tourism and Business Management attended. The students were addressed & educated by two fresh MBAs who highlighted the role of the youth as Leaders in the Pandemic-scenario. They narrated factual examples from Philippines, Brazil & Bhopal of youngsters who took innovative steps to serve the Covid affected. The message delivered was: Leadership is about inspiration, integration & innovation. It is always service before self. 5 relevant video clips were shown in between the interactive sessions. Initially there were some technical glitches. Their Vice Chancellor herself stepped in & resolved the problem. Many of our members participated & encouraged the students including our past Presidents Dinaz Tarapore & Phiroze Masters, Present President Asis Ray, Director Ashima Agashe, Distinguished Rotarian Dr Supriya Banerjea and others.
