Srujan, Rotary Club of Poona West's signature project for the differently abled, is conducted with a difference in these Covid times. The model for Srujan has been that the Club incurs the expenditure of exhibition of products made by the NGOs that work for differently abled individuals and the revenue from it goes to the participating Non Profit organizations. Since last year, we are seeking orders from Corporates for Diwali gift hampers which would contain such products made by them. During this year , we facilitated gift hamper orders worth Rs. 1,12,000/- helping the non profits generate much needed resources. Our own spending was minimal and more catalytic. Also, the products are showcased for sale in a well known grocery chain in Pune. The footfall and the revenue are helping the NGOs generate much needed additional revenue. Till date approximately Rs 30,000/- revenue is generated through this channel. Proud that Rotary helps us reach out in multiple ways to impact lives positively.
