Nurturing Atmanirbhar Women with Novel Initiatives, a Mentoring Program for Women Entrepreneurs has been launched by Rotary Club of Pune Pride on October 21st in the presence of DGN for Rotary District 3131 Rtn Manjoo Phadke. The goal of this program is to facilitate and help women entrepreneurs to scale up their business and make it more remunerative, productive and impactful. Under this program, 10 women entrepreneurs hailing from varied backgrounds were identified through an exhaustive selection process and inducted as mentees. These women entrepreneurs (Mentees) were matched with appropriate Mentors whose role will be to facilitate the achievement of business success. The Chief Guest at the event was Ms Jai Bharathi, the Founder of MOWO (MOving WOman), a champion for women’s empowerment and presently on a 40 day tour by motorbike covering 20 cities across India. Speaking on the occasion, Rtn. Dr Ashwini Ganapule, President of Rotary Club of Pune Pride said “The NAWNI mentorship program is in line with Rotary Club of Pune Pride’s vision and mission to work in the area of women upliftment and we are excited about the difference it can make in breaking barriers for women entrepreneurs.” Added Vocational Services Director of RC Pune Pride, Rtn. Anuja Kolhatkar “The heart of NAWNI program is training, mentoring and networking which is intended to build self-confidence and empowerment for these women entrepreneurs.”
