India is home to the second highest number of diabetes patients in the world. Rotary has signed an MOU with Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSIDI) to be its partner for conducting tests to check blood sugar. 10 lakh diabetes tests conducted on 29/09/2021 World Heart Day. It was designated as Rotary Service Day in the district. The aim was to create a Asia Book Of World Record. Rotary club of Pune Uotown along with Vishwanand Ayurvedic Center conducted a defeat diabets campaign at Vishwanand kendra Walvekarnagar.
