The schools in Pune District are likely to open soon for physical presence. Covid threat requires that each teacher and child be tested for oxygen levels and body temperature before entering the school. Rural schools may not be able to afford to purchase such equipment. Hence Rotary Club of Pune Metro decided to purchase this equipment and donate to six schools in Pune District Rural area. The schools are: 1. New English School, Winzar, Taluka Velha, 2. Guruvarya Narayan Maharaj Madhyamik Vidyalay, Hivare, Taukal Purandar, 3. Nav Maharashtra Vidyalay, Pandare, Taluka Baramati, 4. ZP Primary School, Adhale Budruk, Taluka Maval, 5. ZP Primary School, Kalus, Taluka. Khed, and 6.
