A medical camp was conducted at Mograj and nearby villages at Karjat Taluk. MR. Sujay Kolhapur, MSW student wrote a letter requesting about organising a camp for village children. We approached Dr. Dipak Kulkarni for help and he sent 2 junior doctors-Dr. Avtar Vagela and Dr. Rajkumar Pal for the camp along with some samples of medicine. Pediatricians from IAP Raigad joined this camp for general check up of children. Dr. Promod Wankhede, President of IAP Raigad, Dr. Dhanjay Rajput, Secretary and DR. Nilima Bhandarkar helped us. They exmined the children and dispensed medicines. Bharat Vikas Parishad, Panvel also contributed by checking Hemoglobin of the ladiesunder the project of anemia mukta bharat. Representatives fro Emcure Pharma were present for doing Hb tests. The place is 60 Km away and our van were used by dematologists to examine patients with skin problem. The camp was organised in ZP School Mograj between 11 am to 4 pm. Hb test was done for 77 ladies and 66 children in age group of 4 to 13 years. Our medical project director Dr. Kirti Samudra and Rtn PP Rajeevan took all the efforts to make this camp a success.
