" Smart phone distribution" program was conducted yesterday at CECF's Low Vision Centre at Bhandarkar Road, for the visually impaired and low vision patients. Dignitaries present were – Asis Ray- President RCPD, Rtn Anil Goel, Rtn Mrs. Neeru Goel, PP Rtn Yezdi Batliwala, PP Rtn Phiroze Masters, PP Rtn Jitu Mehta, Vikram Desai, Pradeep Munot, Shabbir Jamnagarwala, and Vasant Deshpande from CECF. Total 10 Samsung smart phones were distributed which was given by Vision Aid Foundation, USA. They are going to train visually impaired patients on these smart phone in various skills (training through assistive technologies) Program was jointly organised by RCPD, CECF and Vision Aid Foundation USA.
