Veloshi Tepachi Wadi is a tribal area in Pen, Maharashtra (One of our Happy Villages) having population of 60-70 people (roughly 12-13 families). In order to help them, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite built a container to collect and divert the water which naturally flowing down the mountain to the base of the mountain and easily accessible. It took about two weeks to get the mountain excavated and pipeline set up. This project is believed to benefit 70 people living there. Women in particular expressed delight upon having the pipeline and water tank set up near their residence. Due to COVID-restrictions, care was taken to ensure minimal gathering with only 2 Rotarians, President and Project Chairman inaugurating the pipeline for the residence in presence of RCC Borgaon Elite President, local gram panchayat officials and few members from families
