Global Grant Innovative Project for saving Lives of low birth weight babies is planned this year. Under this project 23 PHCs will receive Baby Warmers with inverter. This will increase the survival chances of low birth weight babies born in these PHCs. Additionally, we will give sleeping bags for 3300 babies who will be born in these PHCs in a period of one year. Moreover, traming to Asha workers on preparing supplementary weaning foods from locally available foods will be organised . Babies will be followed up at 6 months and 12 months age for observing the impact .
