Handing over ceremony of NICU to PCMC Akurdi Hospital was performed on 29th June 2022. Members present: Prescient Rtn Jagmohan Singh First Lady Rtn Hardeep jKaur Rtn Rakeeh Singhania Rtn Dr Ravindra Kadam Rtn Dr Vandana Kadam Dr Hodgar Dr Gpfane (Head of PCMC Hospitals ) Rtn Dr. Ravindra Kadam: Friends, Akurdi PCMC multi-specialty hospital is one of the nodal points recently developed for the help of the mother and children belonging to the lower class, lower middle class in the areas of Akurdi and surrounding areas where they can get help at absolutely no cost, this is a boon for the mothers and children. Akurdi hospital has a delivery rate of around 100-140 deliveries per month, they do need care for the newborns in the first important hours of life and hence our club has answered this question by giving a well equipped NICU to this hospital. Friends this facility has been handed over today. This primary care NICU ( Neonatal intensive care unit) will provide the best of the care to the newborns of the needy mothers. We have arranged for Warmers, phototherapy machines , cardiac monitors, syringe pumps, and all the consumables needed for the same. This is a moment of pride for the club. President Jagmohan, Rtn. Rakesh and the most energetic Service Director Rtn. Ankaji have done a tremendous Service above self for the needy and very impactful in the long run. Ex MLA Balasaheb Bhegde addresses the gathering
