A series of floods took place across the Indian state of Maharashtra in 2021. As of 28 July 2021, around 251 people have died and over 100 are still missing due to floods and landslides. Thirteen districts have been affected in western Maharashtra. Rotary District 3131 launched a massive Disaster Relief Mission. Members of Rotary Club Kurkumbh MIDC got together to help our Brothers & Sisters of the flood affected Region. A Total Quantity of 5 Metric Tonnes of Bleaching Powder and 1.5 Metric Tonnes of Sodium Hypo Chloride was dispatched to the flood infected region. These materials are essential to crub the spread of diseases and maintain hygiene after floods.
