Training of stitching some designer items to deaf and dumb girls who are passed out students of Vidya Mahamandal of Apte school was under taken on 1st July and continued till 30th June. It involved stitching of items like Table runner, table mats, cushion covers, shopping bags etc. They were trained for cutting and stitching neatly the items. The items stitched by them were used for giving presents to speakers of various programs, were aslo used as Diwali gift for our members and were sold for worth of Rs.45000/-. This gave good employment for these 4 girls and training will enable them to earn in future also.
