Students in rural area face scarcity of opportunity to do science experiments by hand due to multiple reasons. Reasons include one or more of the following: 1> Non-availability of science / lab equipment / material / chemicals in working condition 2> Limited access to the equipment / material due to fear of breaking / spoiling the equipment / material 3> Not all schools have certified science teacher The solution to the above problem is a virtual science Lab. The on-line science practical applications have inherent limitation of internet bandwidth availability in the rural area. Hence this project considers giving a memory-stick based virtual science laboratory which can be directly run on the computer available in schools. The science teacher can explain the experiments to students and students can see the experiment happening on screen. This Virtual Science is planned to be donated to 11 ZP schools near Indapur in Pune district
