Fight Childhood obesity is the signature project of RCKP. This is an ongoing Project since fro 2017 Inaugrated by the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Devendra Fadnavis . It has grown in number and size over the years. The objective of campaign is to create the awareness among the school going kids and make them to understand the consequences of the obesity. RCKP developed a Documentary film highlighting the causes, consequences and how to overcome the problem. These documentary film displayed at Schools . To have better understanding of the issue RCKP came with novel idea of Drawing competition for the kids , with the theme related to obesity. Withthis campaign we could reach many children make them aware the Obesity . Before the pandemic set in , we have also conducted online drawing competeion and could reach large number of children all over the state . The pandemic has shortly put a break on our campaign as the schools were shut, we again started the campaign with new vigour . We have developed new mobile app for the campaign and ambitious of taking the project to National level with the help of Rotary Organisation and ICMR
