This story tells us that Rakhi was used to protect our close ones from evil Rabindranath Tagore used rakhi to bring harmony and brotherhood between the two religions to cease the decision of parting Bengal by the British. With all the history where rakhi not only symbolizes love & protection, but also a medium to bring harmony & brotherhood, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite sent over 150+ hand made rakhis made by school children from 6 schools to 11 Indian Army battalions as a medium to bring peace, harmony, brotherhood and protection to them.
