Every village may have a primary school but often the children have to go to other villages for secondary education. The distance of these villages are more than 5kms at times. These children walk all the way to school and back in all seasons, be it summer, monsoon or winter. Monsoons in Raigad district is quite heavy and consistent throughout the season. When we decided to donate some footwear for the children, our RCC team identified the number of footwear required along with their sizes through need assessment. So we donated 500 footwear to boys and girls
