Raksha Bandhan - means to ask those who protect by offering salutations to protect them. There are many examples of this in history. Women have always stepped forward to protect society and are still doing so. The slogan of the police is 'Sadrakshanaya Khalnigrahanai'. Many women are working in Maharashtra Police Department to make this a reality. We have expressed respect and gratitude by tying a Rakhi to Lady Police Officer in the office of Police Commissioner After aukshan by, First lady Rtn Jyotsna Saraf, Ann Rasika , Ann Sgweta, Ann Sharmila, and Ann Swati President Rajendrakumar Saraf tied a Rakhi on the arm of Smt. Bhagyshri Navtake (IAS) Deputy Commissioner of police (EOW and cyber crime). We have tied Rakhis to 68 Lady Police officer & 7 Male Police officer. The program of Raksha Bandhan, which is emotional, inspiring, energizing, gives eternal happiness, creates unbreakable relationships, lives forever in memory and glorifies the power of women is highly appreciated by all Police officer.
