Typhoid fever is an infection that spreads through contaminated food and water. It is rare in developed countries. But it is still a serious health threat in the developing world, especially for children. As many as 30% of people who do not get treatment die from complications of typhoid fever. Typhoid vaccine can prevent typhoid fever. Unfortunately, typhoid vaccination is not included in the primary vaccination schedule of Government. Mostly the economically weak society is dependent on Government for their healthcare & treatment needs. This makes the economically challenged children quite prone to get infected by typhoid fever. With the help of our RCC Team we identified such children which are mostly from Adivasi tribes and economically weaker sections.
