Typhoid fever is an infection that spreads through contaminated food and water. It is rare in developed countries. But it is still a serious health threat in the developing world, especially for children. As many as 30% of people who do not get treatment die from complications of typhoid fever. Typhoid vaccine can prevent typhoid fever. Unfortunately, typhoid vaccination is not included in the primary vaccination schedule of Government. RC Panvel Elite was invited at Anjuman-I-Islam's Kalsekar Technical Campus, School of Pharmacy, Panvel on the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, which is celebrated on every 25th September for conducting a Typhoid Vaccination Camp for the students & professors of the college. The club was also recognised & felicitated by the ATKC School of Pharmacy, Panvel.
