Travelling on a two-wheeler or a four-wheeler is a very common thing for students studying in urban areas. However, some of the school-going students, living in tribal areas, having the desire to acquire knowledge, have to struggle day in and day out to even make their way to the school. These students have to walk 5-8 km daily to reach their school. In order to lend a helping hand to make their journey of acquiring knowledge relatively easier, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite donated 26 cycles to students of tribal villages of Sindhalchi Wadi. 26 Unused and abandoned cycles from housing societies and people living in nearby vicinities and others who were willing to donate cycles which they no longer needed were collected. These cycles were then repaired to an extent of being usable and were then donated to the students of the aforementioned villages along with cycle locks.
