A mega plastic collection drive was conducted on Taljai Hills (Sinhgad Road Side). Total 10 clubs and more that 100 volunteers were involved in the same. District Environment Team Leader Gauri Shikarpur, DGE MAnjoo Phadke, PDG Deepak Shikarpur and other district officers also attended this project. Almost 50 bagfull plastic was collected from this area which was thrown by trace passers who are list bothered about ill effects of plastic on environment. This project also gave a very good PI opportunity to all clubs. Alongwith plastic waste collection activity, blodd donation and haemoglobin, sugar checking arrangements were made at the venue.
