Exposure of youths to business opportunity through Bee keeping training. Organised in RCPL RCC village Kalyan under Government of Maharashtras KVIB programe. This was a joint project with NSS, Unnat Bharat ABhiyan and Asian college of commerce and science, Pune. Environmental protection is an escalating concern and a key focus area for Rotary. The decline in bee habitats has raised alarms due to the crucial role bees play in in pollination. A third of the world's food production depends on bees as they help food crops, to reproduce. Recognizing this, RCPL undertook an exceptional project, a beekeeping training session for the youth of its adopted RCC village, providing youth sustainable livelihood opportunities. By safeguarding and increasing bee populations, RCPL's project contributes to maintaining the delicate balance of nature's cycle. The impact gets compounded with humans, environment protection and stability of village's economy. By safeguarding and increasing bee populations, RCPL's project contributes to maintaining the delicate balance of nature's cycle. Moreover, empowering the youth with skills and opportunities helps ensure the future sustainability of their families and the entire village community, reducing migration to urban areas. RCPL's exceptional project on beekeeping training stands as a testament to its commitment to environmental protection, sustainable livelihoods, and community development. By emphasizing the importance of bees and their habitats, RCPL sets an example for other Rotary clubs and community organizations to engage in similar initiatives. Through collective efforts, we can protect the environment, support livelihoods, and foster a more sustainable future for all.
