A Project for giving guidance on metamorphosis from a child to a young adult. Informative Lecture on Physical & Mental Health, Changes in Anatomy, Awareness about Health issues, Fitness through exercise for girls of age between 13 - 19 years. Attendance: Dr. Tanuja Javdekar, Dr. Asawari Page, President Padmaja Joshi, Secretary Ashwini Shiledar,Triveni Mardikar, Sweta Sant, Convenor Pratiksha Shelke School Attendance: Principal and teachers of the school. Approx 430 girls of Standard 6th,7th, 8th Session Summary: The biggest session yet of this year of Kali Umaltana was conducted at Muktangan school. Dr. Tanuja started the session and went in depth with respect to female anatomy and its changes over the years. Even the parts about adolescence attraction and infatuations were welcomed by school teachers and principals. Girls were open and brave enough to ask personal questions even in such a large crowd. Dr. Asawari took a very beneficial and engaging session even in a short time. She spoke about how confidence is important in order to achieve one's goals. A few girls were invited to the stage to perform the different exercises she taught so well. The session ended in the principal’s office with a discussion on the possibility of having such a session for boys as well.
