Ecological rejuvenation of Nallah in the Kothrud area. The main objectives are i) Partial wastewater treatment by bioremediation. ii) To improve the air quality in and around the area of the Nallah. iii) To remove solid waste in the Nallah so that the water can freely flow. iv) Reduce mosquito menace. v) To free the area from pig menace. vi) Bank stabilization and plantation on the bank for improved aesthetics and biodiversity. vii) To create instream structures resulting in breeding spots for fishes, and landing spots for birds to boost biodiversity.
