Rotary club of Mahad in collaboration with mahad Nagar Parishad and Veda Jan Jagruti manch organized half marathon on the occasion of Birth anniversary of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The marathon was organized for different age groups including children, adults and senior citizens. The event took place on 19th February 2023 and had a nominal entry fee. The marathon run starting point was Mahad Nagarpalika building at Shivaji chowk and had three different end points at 1km, 3km and 10km according to the category. It received a great response. Senior citizens and prominent personalities of Mahad like Padmashri Dr Himmmatrao Bavaskar and Dr Mrs Pramodini Bawaskar.
