Rotary club of Mahad,& Rotary club of New Kalyan in collaboration with Atos, together distributed lower limb prosthesis on Saturday 23/04/23 at Sant rohidas nagar hall mahad. Padmashri Dr Himmmatrao Bavaskar the chief guest for this program appreciated this work by Rotary club of Mahad. He also stated that the all who were fortunate to receive this gift of artificial limb should use this opportunity not only to regain their independence but also work for the betterment of society and our country . President of Rotary club of New Kalyan Dr Sushrut Vaidya shared his plan of freeing Thane, Kalyan and Raigad district from disabled people . The event was graced by presence of Kiran patil, Namdeo Chaudhari, Kailash Deshpande from Rotary club of Kalyan. Dr Chetan Surve the President of Mahad club, confided that the club will be working hard for the rehabilitation of these disabled people. After inauguration of the camp all the handicapped were fitted with the prosthesis and were also trained about the use of the same. All those who received this gift of artificial limb couldn't contain their joy and thanked Rotary club of Mahad and Kalyan. During this camp 70 artificial limbs were distributed to the needy
