Under the Avenue of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), several Rotary Clubs collaborated to support the transgender community in Panvel. Initiative: Objective: Provide monthly groceries to meet the day-to-day needs of the transgender community. Collaboration: RC Patalganga, RC Mahanagar, RC Panvel Central, RC Panvel Elite, RC New Panvel, RC Panvel Sunrise, and RC Pen joined forces for this cause. Contribution: Groceries worth Rs. 12,700 were provided to the transgender community at their shelter home in Panvel. Impact: Essential Support: Fulfilling basic needs ensures the well-being of the transgender community. Community Unity: The collaborative effort of multiple Rotary Clubs demonstrates solidarity and support for marginalized communities. This synergy project exemplifies Rotary's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a more inclusive and compassionate society.
