BEEJAROPAN / SEED PLANTATION Normally we eat mangos (fruits) and discard the seeds, as a waste. This creates problems to environment, cleanliness, solid waste and pollution. We collect the seeds of mango and plant them in the rainy season. After a period of 2 -3 months we get good saplings out of them. after allowing them to grow for another 2 to 3 years we obtain big/grown up plants. They are then planted at suitable locations. We can graft them and plant in rural areas so the benefiaciary can get mango fruits after 6-8 years. Helps them earn additional income for their family. One tree thus can benefit a family of 5. During this year (23-24) we have planted more than 1000 such seeds and can produce around 500 saplings in 3 years time. 25 of our club members , Anns and a guest participated in this activity in a farm house near Pune
