Rider Ameeth Londe Date: 28th November 2023 Deccan Cliffhanger is most treacherous race of western ghats of India. One have to complete the ride of 646 kms in 30 hours to qualify for the RAAM (Race Across America). Thus it is also known as RQ ( RAAM Qualifier). Race was flagged off from Pune at 5:30 am on 28th November. Route was Pune, Karad, Pasarni, Satara, Kolhapur, Belgaum, Hubli underpass, Belgaum, Kolhapur, Nipani, Sawantwadi and Goa. Rider was supported by RC Chinchwad for hydration and support van. This way cycling can be promoted and new rider can be encouraged for competitive cycling. Also environment awareness towards cycling to reduce the carbon footprint. Public image for amongst 180 riders and their crew for our club. From the route of Pune to Goa also covering 646 kms. Also there were more than 500 people present during the race and the price distribution.
