Due to the water scarcity condition in Baramati Tehsil areas Rotary Club Of Baramati in collaboration with Agriculture department and with the involvement of Gram Panchayat and local people initiated construction of Check Dams or Vanrai Bandhare to increase the avilability of water for agriculture purposes and local people.
