Toilet blocks were built in three schools at Khed Shivapur area. Under the Global Grant scheme , 12 schools were identified in that area, all of them are ZP primary, co- educational schools. In each school, two toilet blocks were built, one for the boys and one for the girls. Each block for the girls have three toilets and two wash basins. Each block for the boys have three urinals , one toilet and two wash basins. Five feet high tiles are put along the walls. Septic tank is built in each school. Overhead tank for water supply is also built. In all these three schools water filter is also provided for the supply of clean drinking water. On 15 Sept there was the inauguration of these toilets in three schools at Kalyan, Mordari and Rahatwade. Local Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat members, some ZP members, teachers, students and guests were present.
