We have done this project to support movement started by Rtn. Makarand Tillu to save water of 1 Crore Ltrs per day. He and his team locates the public places, societies, apartments etc where water is leaking due to poor taps or overflow. If the taps are faulty then they replace the taps and if there is overflow then they fix Ballvalve. According to his calculation if we arrest leakage of 1 tap then we can save minimum of 52 Lacs Ltrs of water per year. He has set target of saving 1 Crore leters of water per day. Our club has donated total 18 ball cocks to his project by collecting contribution from members.
