On March 15, 2024, the parent club RC Pradhikaran and the Rotaract Club of DY Patil College of Engineering collaborated to host a two-hour self-defence workshop for female students of DY Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi. Led by Snehal Pawar, a seasoned black belt expert and esteemed international jury member, the workshop aimed to empower young women with the skills and confidence necessary for self-protection. Under Pawar's expert guidance, participants were imparted with practical self-defense techniques tailored to various situations, equipping them with the means to safeguard themselves effectively. Notably, Snehal Pawar also serves as the Physical Education teacher at Unique Vision English Medium School, Chinchwad, where Rtn Rajani Duvedi, President of RC Pradhikaran, holds the position of Principal. In attendance from the Pradhikaran Club were Rtn Rajani Duvedi, Director of NGSC, Sanjay Kumar, and Club Administrator Rtn Bhushan Dhake, who observed the workshop, further emphasizing the commitment of the club towards fostering empowerment and safety within the community.
