Ltd. 100 bicycles from Chakan's CSR fund and Rotary Club of Pimpri Elite and Rotary Club of Chinchwad in association with Rotary Club of Talegaon Dabhade City recently distributed 135 bicycles to the students who travel 4 to 9 km daily in the rural areas of Maval taluka at Shri Ram Vidyalaya in Navlakh Umbre.As many as 135 students from rural farmers, agricultural labourers, labourers, tribal and economically promising families were given bicycles under the initiative "Let's stop the walking of Savitri's daughters". Rotary Club's innovative initiative to set up cycle banks in schools has become a subject of praise among students ,parents and citizens.
