Some of the Villages in Khed and Ambegoan taluka face severe scarcity of water in summer. Women residing in these villages have to fetch water from a far distance ranging from two to three kilometers. It often results into health issues for these women. Largely, women have to face multiple challenges while fetching water from far distance and hilly terrain. As a part of this project, we propose to make a provision of Water Roller Drums having capacity of 45 litres that can be pulled to reduce efforts of women and it will be convenient for men and women to fetch water .! The cost of one Drum is Rs 2400/-, we are going to donate 100 such drums...!
