A workshop on making carry bags from newspapers was successfully conducted at Christ University, Lavasa on Saturday, 03 Feb 2024. At the initiative of Rtn. Pankaj Mehrotra, the workshop was organized by Rtn. Surendra Shroff. Rtn. Pankaj and R’Ann Neelam Mehrotra played instrumental roles in coordinating and arranging all the necessary logistics to ensure the success and usefulness of the workshop. The training session was facilitated by RCPC trainers, Mrs. Vishakha Vichare and Mrs. Minal Lohiya, who expertly guided all participants in the technique of bag making. Their efforts were complemented by the support of Ms. Gayatri, Ms. Mariya, and Mrs. Rashmi Mhapurkar from CSA, Christ University Lavasa. The administrative aspects of the workshop were efficiently managed by BBA Faculty and student volunteers led by Ms. Shruti, providing excellent support throughout. R’Ann Neelam Mehrotra took care of refreshments for all participants and trainers. Christ University contributed to the success of the event by arranging transportation, breakfast, and lunch for the trainers. The workshop proved to be a fun-filled activity that engaged students, staff, Lavasa workers, families, and Ashiana Utsav seniors. In total, 27 individuals had the opportunity to enhance their skills through the training. Thank you to everyone involved for making this workshop a resounding success.
