On March 14, 2024 an Eye Check-up Camp took place at the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule English and Marathi School in Pisoli, organized in collaboration with the Community Eye Care Foundation. This initiative aimed to cater to the needs of children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds residing in the vicinity of the school, ensuring they receive quality education. It was a busy yet highly fulfilling day for all involved. Here are the outcomes from the event: • Total number of students screened: 557 • Students advised for glasses: 28 • Students advised for cyclo refraction: 12 • Students referred for further investigation: 2 • Staff members screened: 12 • Reading glasses provided to staff: 5 We extend our gratitude to the dedicated optometrists from the CECF whose commitment and hard work made this event possible. The day concluded with a delightful lunch and words of appreciation from the head of the institution. It was indeed a day well spent, contributing to the welfare of the community
