Vocational Guidance through Aptitude Testing and Counselling-One amongst the many dilemmas that the adolescent students face is "What is my future as an adult?" Rtn Past President Dr Vikram Nabar took up the above matter head-on, by harnessing the Ultramodern Technology & Counselling expertise of Rtn Colonel Uday Jagavkar [Rotary Club of Pune Magarpatta]. He requested help from RCPD’s Hon. Rtn Vaibhav Pore, who very speedily co-ordinated with 10 ZP schools, to get their nominations [of 5 students each] of 10th grade. An hourlong introductory talk by Col. Jagavkar and Aptitude Testing in Hindi (administered through a psychrometric-testing software company, iDreamCareer.com [iDC], New Delhi) was planned for the fifty [50] students. The date scheduled for this exercise was 27th March 2024, the day after their 10th grade final exams were over. Currently, for those 50 students, Col. Jagavkar is carrying out 1 on 1 counselling (30 minutes) of Vocational Guidance, to provide them with a very valuable direction in their lives.
