An Eye Check-up Camp was successfully held at Sant Tukaram Vidyalay in Chandan Nagar on September 6, 2023, in collaboration with the Community Eye Care Foundation. The event was diligently organized by Poornima Gadia of Disha Institute. A total of 371 children underwent eye examinations during the camp. Out of the 371 children examined, 23 were referred for cyclo refraction, while 7 were recommended for further medical intervention. Additionally, 23 children were advised to undergo refraction tests, and 2 members of the staff received reading glasses. Moreover, as part of this initiative, 8 staff members also took the opportunity to have their eyes checked for any potential issues. The dedicated team from the Community Eye Care Foundation executed the camp with great enthusiasm and commitment. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rtn. Dr. Saroj Bande, Director Medical, for traveling all the way from Deccan to join us during this significant eye check-up camp. Rtn Oni Kakajiwala was felicitated at the hands of Rajmohan Gandhi, Grandson of the Mahatma Gandhi.
