Empowering Senior Citizens: Enhancing Health Care, Entertainment, and Community Welfare – 20 + Rotarians At RCPH, we have embarked on a journey to provide comprehensive support to seniors through health care, entertainment, and community welfare initiatives. RCPH is engaged with Tapas, an old age home in Pune where 150 seniors are staying. They have one more centre taking care of seniors suffering from Alzheimer. Their basic needs include medical attention, social engagement and empathy. To cater to that, we have ensured that the seniors receive timely medical attention and advice. Our team of dedicated volunteers conducts awareness sessions on prevalent health issues, empowering them with knowledge for better self-care. Also, we have provided them Oxygen concentrator, for emergency situations. Musical Entertainment plays a crucial role in disease prevention and curing. Some of our members have a singing karaoke group, they had organized a melodious program specially designed for seniors to keep their spirits high and minds engaged. It was pleasure to see Happiness on their faces and they also danced on the tunes. These activities not only provide entertainment but also foster a sense of engagement and belonging. Our efforts are not just about providing services but creating a warm, inclusive environment where seniors feel valued and cared for. The positive feedback and gratitude we received from them inspire us to continue expanding our reach and improving our services.
