From August 1st to 7th, the Rotary Club of Daund celebrated World Breastfeeding Week by organizing a 7-day program involving Anganwadi Sevikas and ASHA Sevikas. Gynecologist members from RC Daund visited PHC centers and Anganwadis in Chormale Wasti, Gopalwadi, Sonawadi, Wireless Phata, and Kurkumbh. During these visits, they provided crucial information on proper breastfeeding techniques, maintaining hygiene, and proper diet for mothers. Additionally, nutritious food was distributed to support the health of mothers and their babies. This initiative highlights RC Daund's commitment to improving maternal and child health through education, nutrition, and community support.
