DETAILED PROJECT REPORT FOR ITI INSTRUMENTATION MECHANIC LAB. OBJECTIVE : ITI Aundh has 2 years course for Instrumentation Mechanic Certification. The intake is 20 students in a batch, which is selected on merit basis every 2 years. To Upgrade the instrument mechanic lab with latest instrumentation technology for better understanding. OVERVIEW ; The current lab has very few instruments which in any case are very old. This are not very helpful to explain the basic concepts enlisted in the curriculum, Also the current set up has classroom and lab within the same space, which is not very conducive for learning. Current Gap and Need: The space itself is inadequate for having lab and classroom within same area. The classroom needs painting and flooring to be done to create good environment for learning. Latest instruments along with cut sections are required for better understanding of the subject. Instruments need to have good display along with technical information, specifications, application etc. Project : Rotary Club of Aundh approached ITI instrumentation lab to upgrade the whole set up. RCA then tied up with vendors of Instrumentation, Flooring , painting to provide complete upgrade solution to tackle all the current shortcomings listed above. Beneficiary : 20 students enrolled for instrument mechanic course will benefit due to better set up along with instruments of latest technology, Cost : 14.5 L was the total cost of the project which was executed through the CSR initiative of instrument and coating vendor.
