This project is under GG no 1869378 approved in June 2018. The objective is to provide telemedicine services for better and affordable access to healthcare in rural India. However during Covid19 and its immediate aftermath we faced certain operational challenges resulting in a delay of couple of years and the technology becoming redundant. After evaluating various options to move the project forward RCPP has revived the project through expansion of the Geographical Area and upgradation of Technology. Geographical area expansion within the District of Pune itself. The locations are Vadu Budruk and Manchar, Targeted beneficiaries – 40,000 over the next two years New Technology – Health ATM / Cloud Clinic from Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd, an active partner in various health initiatives of the Govt. of India Implementation partner: KEM Hospital and Research Centre. KEMHRC is located in the Vadu Budruk rural area, they have been active for over 3 decades, providing medical care in the region and conducting research projects involving regular visits and contact with the local community. RCPP has deployed two Health ATMs to cover the targeted beneficiaries in Vadu and Manchar geographies.
