Rotary Club of Pune Gandhi Bhavan is partnering with Jnana Prabodhini over last few years in the field of women empowerment in 80 villages across the Velhe and Bhor Taluka. As part of project Arthasakhi RCP Gandhi Bhavan in association with Jnana Prabodhini conducted Project Annapurna (Skill Development Program). *Please Refer Attachment- RCPGB -Annapurna Report Key objective of Annapurna project is to improve economic independence and awareness in women in rural places mainly in Velhe Taluka. 15 training courses were conducted. Includes cooking, crochet, knitting, bids etc. and helped train skills for self- employment Total 16 Training classes for 122 women conducted across 5 villages in 8 different skills • • On 19-May-24, women ran a stall at Nasarapur market and sold material worth INR 700. More than the overall sales, the experience was vital for these women for self-confidence.
