he Breast Cancer Advocacy and Screening program held at Khedekar Hospital in Bopodi, Pune, during the PMC-initiated Ayushman Bharat Camp was a collaborative effort between the Rotary Club of Poona Downtown (RCPD) and the RSB Foundation. The screening took place from 9 am to 1 pm. Expert speakers from Prashanti Cancer Care Mission, in partnership with RSB Foundation, conducted an advocacy talk during the event. A total of 65 women were screened, and one individual was identified for further examination, subsequently referred to Orchid Hospital. Special recognition was given to Mrs. Priyanka Behera, CSR Director of the RSB Foundation, and Mr. Chetan Kusalkar for their pivotal roles. Dr. Swati Badhiye, head of Khedekar Hospital, facilitated this opportunity to serve the community. RCPD, represented by President Aruna Rathi and IPP Zimra Israel, actively participated, with plans to organize more such camps in the future, emphasizing the importance of breast cancer awareness and early detection.
