The Rotary Club of Pen participated in Eco School Stationary/Working Model Competition organised by the District with the aim to foster environmental awareness among school students. The competition encouraged students to explore environmental issues, devise solutions, and promote eco-friendly lifestyles through creative projects. Carmel High School, Pen, was represented by four enthusiastic students who took part in the stationary model category. They utilized scrap materials and eco bricks to create an innovative model, showcasing their understanding of environmental conservation and sustainability. The primary objective of the competition was to inspire students to study environmental issues deeply and comprehend the severity of these problems. The initiative aimed to motivate young minds to think critically about sustainable practices and lifestyle changes that can contribute to a healthier environment. The students from Carmel High School constructed a stationary model using various recycled materials and eco bricks. This model not only highlighted the importance of reusing waste but also demonstrated practical ways to incorporate eco-friendly materials into everyday life. The Eco School competition successfully engaged students in environmental education, fostering a sense of responsibility and creativity. The effort of the Carmel High School students in creating a sustainable model was commendable and aligned perfectly with the competition's goals. Such initiatives by the Rotary Club of Pen are crucial in educating the younger generation about environmental stewardship and sustainability.
