Our Mega Tree Plantation drive at the Army Institute of Physical Training (AIPT) last Sunday August 18, 2024 was a remarkable success. This collaborative effort, involving 14 Rotary Clubs from Pune District, was further highlighted by the touching gesture from Rotary Club of Amanora, who celebrated the occasion by tying Rakhis to the army personnel. The event, attended by District Governor Rtn. Shital Shah, District Environment Director Rtn. Vasant Malunjkar, and over 140 participants, resulted in the planting of over 5,000 trees, including fruit-bearing trees, Ficus, bamboos, and flowering plants.
