According to the World Health Organization, India is becoming a significant hub for cancer, similar to diabetes, with over 800,000 new cases reported each year. Due to issues like ignorance and late detection, cancer mortality rates in India are alarmingly high compared to European countries, where early detection through regular screening has led to much lower death rates. To address this, Datar Cancer Genetics has developed an innovative blood test for early cancer detection, known as Easy Check. Recognizing the importance of this advancement, the Rotary Club of Alephata Main has launched a cancer awareness program. We have organized an interactive session with the manager of Datar Cancer Genetics in July 2024 at Alephata to further educate the community.
