The Rotary Club of Talegaon MIDC, as part of its Basic Education & Literacy initiative, organized a comprehensive project focusing on Adult Literacy, Financial Literacy, and Cyber Security Awareness. This initiative was designed to empower adults, especially from underprivileged backgrounds, by providing them with essential skills to navigate today’s digital and financial landscapes. Under the leadership of Club President Milind Shelar, the program included: 1. Adult Literacy 2. Financial Literacy : Participants were educated on managing personal finances, budgeting, savings, and understanding banking services, including the use of digital payments. 3. Cyber Security Awareness : The project also focused on raising awareness about online safety, protecting personal data, and recognizing cyber threats such as fraud and phishing. The project aimed to create a more self-reliant and informed community, equipping individuals with skills that are crucial in the digital age.
