Sadaphuli Eco Club was held in Dr. Vasantdada Patil Madhyamik Vidya Niketan on 2nd August 2024. Mrs. Mrudula Karni told the children about how much minimum water each person required daily for his living. This was the direct calculable amount. Water was also required to grow the food we ate every day, the clothes we wore and other items we use daily. This was indirect use of water, which was not taken into account. The earth has so much water, but 75% of it was saline. Only 5 to 10% of the fresh water was available for use as 15 to 20% of the available fresh water was in the form of ice. So the available water needs to be used judiciously. She then told the children how to measure the volume of water in the storage tanks. The children listened attentively and were told to measure the volumes of water in their homes.
